"Anti-Drunk Driving Innovation | GSM + Alcohol Detection + Safety Alert"

Drunk driving is one of the leading causes of road accidents and fatalities across the globe. To mitigate this issue, this project presents an Intelligent Alcohol Detection and Engine Locking System that integrates alcohol sensing, vehicle immobilization, and real-time alert mechanisms. The system uses an MQ3 alcohol sensor to detect the presence of alcohol near the driver. Upon detection of alcohol levels above a defined threshold, the system triggers a buzzer alarm, disables the vehicle engine, and simultaneously sends an SMS alert containing the driver's location to a predefined mobile number using the A9G module (which includes both GSM and GPS functionalities). This automated response aims to prevent intoxicated individuals from operating vehicles, thereby enhancing road safety. The project combines IoT, sensor technology, and GSM communication to provide a low-cost, real-time, and reliable safety solution.
